I can't help with experience on the jacket but here's my two cents.
First off, not all leather is equal. I have a leather jacket that I wear to go out but I would NEVER wear that for protection on the bike. The leather needs to be thick and sturdy, not just leather pieces patched together.
Second, I have my doubts about where the leather and mesh are stitched together. If they use leather for heavy impact zones, and even with industrial super heavy stitches, you'll still have the mesh as your weakest link. If that rips when halfway in a slide, the leather part will just slide from under you and gone is your protection.
You're referring to motorcyclegear.com. Do they have stores as well or is it an online shop? I wouldn't buy any clothing online without trying it on first. There are so many things you can't judge on from a pic or even a clip.
