We are camping throughout the areas so mostly outdoor crap and a some clothes for the 5 days. Tail bag holds my sleepingbag, tent (poles, pegs) and rain gear. Lots of storage......

Don't forget to toss a puck for the sidestand into the tankbag. If you're camping you never know what kind of surface you'll be parking on. Sounds like my kind of trip, though. I love traveling with a tent. I picked up a little bitty, single burner stove a while ago that works well for that. Nothing like pulling up to the campsite, pitching the tent and having a hot meal going without having to go find a restaurant. Works well for coffee in the morning, too.

AWESOME TRIP.....worked out to 2800 km....which I think is 1800 miles......in 5 days. Beautiful scenic sites up in Northern Michigan. Gear held up well. No comlplaints with the set up either of the bike. She ran like a champ and stopped when I wanted it to as I avoided a few deer. Only thing I wish I had done was add my risers before I left.....stupid brake line was too short. But my throttle lock did the trick to help a little. Am looking forward to my nexy trip.
