IMO helmets are the last place you want to go cheap.

you do realise that the markup on a helmet is like 75% and that the people who make sparx also make KBC... a really good helmet brand.

There are like 3 main helmet producers and like 300 sub companys.... now you do the math on how many diff brands are made by the same people.

the warentee and crash protection should also serve as a good indicator for their quality and nice price.... ($130+ isnt exactly cheap)
