No I didn't read all of the posts just saying what I do in my situation. To be honest I really don't care about my post count, it has no affect on my riding skill or anything for that matter. In any case cruise control on any bike is a bad idea. Taking control away for even a split second is a bad idea.

I've have another Audiovox cruise control on the way (in about a week), so depending on the weather, I'll have it installed shortly.
My advantage is that the electrical is already there because of my last install. This time, however, the carb hookup will be different. I'm going to drill and tap to install a hex screw that the CC cable will attach to.

squiggy, please post up pics of the mods (or let me host a copy!??). Did you go for the vac-controlled version again, and why did you replace the old one?
Cheers,

This time I'll do a 'How To" post of the install.
I did go back to the regular vacuum canister mainly because of cost. $100 vs $200, those prices are approximate.
I believe I fryed the electrics in the main unit. I was redoing the main 12v signal to the battery and somehow caused a short. I could hear a click in the main unit when I pressed the "On & Off" button on the control pad which told me it was cycling on and off. Then came the short and then no click coming from the main unit afterwards.

I just called Rosta's national sales VP and let voice mail. Hopefully this will lead somewhere (where the previous emails didn't).
Cheers,
