Are those Speedmaster or Blaster pants? I have the perforated speedmasters and love them.

As for boots, stick to black it a safe colour and can last through several bike changes. Currently I have the Alpinestar SMX boots in black. The Sidi's are very nice looking boots, and comfy from what others say.

Hey Range which Sidi's did you get?

Well , if you buy from Newenough , they help you out with that ALOT . They sent me 2 pairs of boots in different sizes and told me to just send back the ones that didn't fit . Of course , since they had my credit card number already , they had a safety net for themselves against a potential deadbeat .

Duff, don't you wear shoes? I mean, they might run small or large depending on the manufacture but you ussually can get pretty close to what size you wear.

I've got the Vertebra Race ($330 shipped from New Enough), though I'm looking to upgrade to the new Vertigo Corsa boots soon.

They're expensive, but when I went down I'm fairly certain I would have suffered some serious foot trama if it weren't for my Sidi's. My left boot took a beating, but I didn't feel a thing. 8)

IMO, boots are the next most important piece of gear after your helmet. Actually, to be totally honest, on the rare occasion that I have ridden without my helmet...I still wore my Sidi's.

I am really considering the Virtigo Corsa Boot. Looks like it is worth the money. I would like some more information, like stitching and water proof.

But you can pull the plastics off and order the carbon fibre bits if you want

That is something that I like about the boots and the main reason I bought them. They are expensive, but at least I can wear them until they die naturally and not from being ground off.
