  • Gear for the slender

Does anyone have an reccomendations for gear for someone who happens to be of the tall and slender build. I am just over 6' and weigh in at around 155 (w/o gear).
I was able to find a jacket with longer sleeves so I am set with that. I am just a little unsure about what type of pants to go for. Anyone know of a good brand? I figure I would wear a 32-33 in the waist.

My best suggestion to you would be to contact some manufacturers of the pants and give them your measurements. Inseam and such, and let them tell you what they have for you.

Then you can go to other cheaper places and actually buy it.

Could stop by a dealership that carries gear and get their input as well.

Are you looking for leather pants?
I'm 32 waist 34 inseam, and picked up a set of
      TourMaster Coretech pants.
      (ebay $80~)
They fit great.. Not baggy at all
      (I'm 5' 11" 160~)

Which cortech pants do you have? I like both the decker and apex model; not overly flashy or track like.

Considering I put more miles on my bicycle than I do on my motorcycle, that is kind of hard to do. Medical school stress seems to keep the weight off as well

              I have the Deckers.
They fit over boots or inside. Its nice to have choices.

Oh and about gaining weight. Everyone said:
"you can't keep eating like that once you turn 30.."
              Then:
"you can't keep eating like that once you turn 35.."
              Then:
"you can't keep eating like that once you turn 40.."

              Hmm what's next?

Certain brands tend to favor the very slim... AlpineStars and Icon come to mind. A good tailor or cobbler can customize anything downward with no problem.

I'm about 6' and LESS than 150 . My Technik (teknic tecnik ) Prowler pants fit pretty well . A LITTLE short when sitting on the bike , but not pad . Armor sits in the right spots and all . The jacket does okay , too . I'd bet they'd be pretty close on you , too . Also , I'm all arms and legs .
I am a fluffy lil cuddly lovable bunny , dammit !
