  • Fairing Screw/Bolt kit for 98+ Kat

I have seen the kits for the fairings on Ebay, and was wondering if I wanted to just go to the hardware store, and buy all of the screws, if someone has a list of them. $60 seems a little expensive for 30 or so screws.

    Thanks in advance,

    John

Most of the OEM fairing screws for the Kat run $1.50 to $2 each through the dealer. These are the actual shouldered allen-key bolts that the bike came with. The aftermarket versions tend to be standard allen-key bolts without the shoulders (they sometimes include small nylon spacers to make up the difference).

I recently ordered a fairing bolt kit for a Katana I am rebuilding. The web site is tastynuts.com. Yeah sounds like a sick porn site but it's legite. You can get bolt kits for every bolt on your Kat thats visible, you can get titanium if you have the $ or anodized aluminum, your choice of color. Fairing kits run around $50.00. Good luck and hope this helps.

i had ordered this kit about 3 weeks ago...

i ordered the gloss black kit, but the plain bolts only kit is pretty cheap... every bolt i have needed is there, and they are much cheaper than from suzuki. it does seem like getting these screws would be easy, but it is awesome that this guy offers the kits, it saves a lot of time and probably money...

if you take off your fairings very often, they're good to have around
