re-grip throttle

I don't mean replacing the grips. I saw a post in another thread that struck a chord.

I find to get WOT I have to regrip or literally touch my elbow to my knee. The throttle cable is adjusted to the proper amount of play.

Is this normal or is there a way to adjust the throttle so that less input is needed to get to WOT.

I remember reading something about a tunable throttle mod in SSB a few months ago in the mod of the month section. think it was the busa project.. just wondering if that could be done too?

Without reading the article myself, I would have to guess that you are referring to the Motion Pro Revolver throttle.(http://motionpro.com/motorcycle/tool...throttle_kits/) It could be made to work on the kat, but it is overly expensive, especially compared to the 10$ r6 throttle.
