I ride 1" lowered, but my plate is way further out from under my fender.

EDIT: Just double checked. The longer the link, the lower the bike (like I said, triangular geometry. If you stare at the bike hard enough, long enough, you'll realize just how a lowering link works. Took me days). You probably have a 1" / 3" link (inner hole lowers it 1", outer hole lowers it 3"). If it's set to 1" now, that might be as high as that link'll go.

If it has more than 1 hole on one end it is aftermarket. Many of the lowering links I've seen don't really have a stock height setting. Best bet would be to grab a pair of stock ones used IMO.1992- project katfighter
