sprokets!

i was wondering what the ratios were with a front sproket that has 1 less tooth.

65 mph in 6th = rpm?
90 miles in 6th = rpm?

is it a noticable improvement????
any brands better than others?
a recomended mod?

Good mod . First gear will be almost useless (it goes by pretty fast) . Don't remember rpm/speed , but you'll be running maybe 500 rpm's higher . I'd do it again .

thats it. i'm doing it. prob gonna pick up the ignition advancer at the same time. does special k have a site with stuff he is selling? i saw on a privious post he had some advancers for sale.

special K still has his site. www.kbcycles.net , but he's been quite busy these days w/ his work and traveling so he's not quite as much into the parts business as he was but Im sure he can still point you in the right direction if he doesnt have what you need.

The ignition advancer is a great little mod too..installs in no time and makes a big difference in the warm up time and can cure some rough mid range issues w/ a bike too.
