  • 99 kat pod air filters

will pod filters effect the air intake to much to make it bog, when revving above 2k rpm?

Plenty of info on pod filter on katana carbs. The majority consensus is a negative opinion of them.

        You didnt search very well.

Be sure when you use the search tool to use the google site search function.

Try and search again, there are A TON of threads about it.

Long story short, You will have to rejet, and have a hard time tuning it. Pretty much everyone will tell you to use the stock air box. I can tell you from personal experience I have had to come up with some pretty unique solutions to get them to work right.

Also, if you want one, I have a stock airbox, boots and a pretty new filter for sale, link in my sig if you want it.
