Just curious what plug my 97 750 takes. The owners manual didn't come with the bike but according to NGK it's supposed to JR9C but I've read here a few times that 96+ are CR9EK...

the easiest way to tell is pull the plugs you have and check ngk.com

I think that the '97 motor, the '01 motor, and my Bandit all have CR9EK's in them. I'd have to look in the garage to know for sure.-Steve

My records indicate that a GSX750F takes (note odd year break):
1988 - 1998:
NGK JR9C (standard)
No NGK Iridium version of this plug available.
1999 - 2004:
NGK CR9EK (standard)
OR
NGK CR9EIX (iridium)
OR
DENSO U27ETR
