    any body ever go one tooth down on the front sprocket of a 600 katana?

    A lot of people have...probably the first step if you want low end quickness.

      It's a cheap solution, although I personally believe going up three in the rear is a better solution (because making the chain rotate tighter around the front sprocket by virtue of fewer teeth means it wears out faster).

        So what does one tooth off the front give / take?

        Anyone measured the top speed difference and the acceleration?
