need help with Installing exhaust back on katana.

I have recently swapped my 1991 katana 600 stock engine with a 2000 katana 600 engine.

I am trying to get the pre exhaust back on and I can't seem to get it to line up to screw it back in.

It seems like the bottom of the engine is restricting it from going into place.

Does anyone know if the old exhaust should be able to fit back in without mods even with the new engine?

It won't line up because it don't fit. Unless you use a pre 98 oil pan and oil pick up, you have to use a 98+ exhaust.

If you want to use the original dual exhaust, swap the oil pan and pick up from the old engine into the new one.

I would suggest using the new headers with an aftermarket slip on though.... unless your set on the dual exhaust look.
