It will turn over until the bearing sieze and lock the motor.

Didn't we have a new member recently trying to start his bike with no oil? Is this a trend?

              ... here we go again..

If you haven't figured out yet.. the answer is no... don't wonder about it, don't ponder the ramifications of it, don't think about it, don't ask why we say no don't do it... just replace the old filter with a new one, get a funnel and pour the oil in, replace the cap.

Oh, it will turn over, just dont start it..make sure it cant fire up..i.e. pull plugs or leads.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

If it don't turn over with oil, then you got a problem.
