Porting

If I were to port and polish the head like a mad dog and do some other small modifactions to the carbs and exhaust. What kind of power increase could I expect?

10% max, probably. 2 - 3% usually. The biggest difference would be the weld seams in the exhaust headers (search for the thread -- Trinc and I discuss it in detail).
