Help with front fork re-assembly

Hey !

Disassembled front forks from a '88 Kat 600 and I had a question regarding this little bushing (i guess it's a busing, or is that the spring seat ?!?!).

In picture below, should the holes be aligned? or at 90 deg from each others ?

I asked this question along time ago. I doesn't matter if they line up. Its just a oil passage. It will circulate around and find its way.

Its a bushing.
