  • hard to squeeze clutch cable

got a 95' 600, and the clutch cable is real tough to squeeze . can i do anything to ease the tension, or am i lookin at a brand new cable?
It really was.......just........a matter of time.

It's down to one of two things:
Either the cable is binding (replace the cable), or the previous owner installed aftermarket stiffer barret clutch springs. The cable is cheap to replace, and I'd start there as it's a common issue on older bikes.

    Cheers

Drop some pentraiting oil down clutch cable then work the clutch lever for a min.
