  • Running Idle Mixture Adjustment??

How on earth do you adjust the idle mixture when the bike is running? My hands aren't that small or burn resistant. Is there are tool or something or do you guys just set them and leave them alone? I currently have them set to 2.5 turns (stock 2001 w/ Uni air filter). Thanks.

They make a special tool for that.
    Pilot Screw Adj. Tool
I have that, but I've never used it. I just set them during a rebuild and they're good to go.

Thanks Arsenic, I appreciate your quick replies.

I also found these on Factory Pro website http://www.factorypro.com/Prod_Pages/prods23.html (Longboy Fuel Screws)

Cute idea but too rich for me.

I installed those in a set one time. Those long boy a/f screws are a hell of an idea.

The idle adjustment or the pilot screws(a/f mixture)? I can reach the idle adjustment with my fat fingers (without an airbox), the pilot screws- arsenic had that covered.
