  • Fork adjustment covers

Shortly after I got my bike home my dad and I were looking it over and noticed that the place where you adjust the forks on the triples is exposed, are there supposed to be caps on them from the factory? Also if they are exposed from the factory what would work best to cover them?

They're exposed. They won't move without someone intentionally moving them.

I'm more concerned with getting dirt in there and how much of a pain it would be to keep them clean, thats the number one reason.

Unless dirt rains from the heavens in your area, they should be fine, as they are effectively behind the instruments while in motion. I have yet to hear of any riders complaining that theirs went bad due to dirt ingress.
