does a 2005 600 kat exaust system fit on a 97 kat 600 without any major modifications? and also is it better than the stock dual that is on my cat

They flow about the same. The dual paths reduce back pressure, but the added surface area the exhaust has to push against makes up for it.Originally posted by sin city kat
To add a 98-05 exhaust system on, you need to change the oil pan to the post-98 oil pan, or dent the new headers to clear your oil pan.
