valve question

i am getting valve work done to my kat and was wondering do valves need to be broke in or can i get on and go?

Valves are a get-on and go item, once adjusted correctly (and assuming no parts from the old valves dropped into the engine).

Normally, only the cylinder-walls and rings need to be broken in (since they need to create a matched mating surface), and this is the primary reason for the break-in period on a new engine and/or new bike.
