i think my clutch is bad but if its the tranny how much are the parts to rebuild????

If it's the tranny, it's probably about 250 in parts and 6 to 8 times that much in labor (18 - 30 hours). When the tranny fails, most people replace the engine and tranny with a known-good set for elsewhere instead because it's less work...
