    Greasing the clutch cam system is part of your regular maintenace.... does nobody own an owners manual or repair manual these days?

      Thanks, somehow glazed over the Ron Ayers post. That's interesting that the part is on the "clutch" schematic vs the crankcase cover. Yikes, $50 for a bit of steel.

        I think it's just that nobody actually READS the thing . And yes , greasing that (clutch lifter mechanism . I've had to order them before ), the clutch lever pivot , and oiling the cable makes a WORLD of difference .

          I bet that's what im going to get a GREAT RIM JOB for. Mine just did the same thing an is in the shop right now. I just know this is going to hurt like a mutha.
