ok so far from the info i've been able to gather around the net, it says that in the 03 and up kat 600 the upper and lower triple trees where made wider by a fraction of a inch, now what about the 03 and up 750 kat was the same design put into the triple trees? another question is that if the triple trees are wider does it mean that the width/distance between the forks increased or that the metal itself on the triple trees just extends more to the sides. the reason i ask these questions is that i want to do a 600 to 750 swap of the forks and wheel as one piece and im wondering if the space between the forks will be the same for 750 and 600 kats 03 and up, if any one can measure the width between the two forks on a 600 and 750 kat 03 and up would be great or just one kat owner that has a 600 or 750 and then another owner can add the info from his kat. any help is welcomed and i send my thanks in advance...

If you want to do a complete swap, just include the steering stem. As long as you're using the upper and lower tripples, then you shouldn't have any problems with differences between the years.Pain is just weakness leaving the body.

What year Kat do you have? If it's 04-06 to 04-06, it should be a bolt-over. If it's 03, I'm not 100% sure. If it's 98-02, you'll need the wheel, rotors, calipers, forks -- because all of those change on the 03 or 04+ models with the change in the fork spacing.

If it uses the "newer" style brake rotors, the ones that are nearly flat, then it should be the wider wheel assembly. The 600 and 750 both went to the wider spacing in 03 but I'm not sure if it was a mid year change. Best way I know to tell is by the rotors.
Why do you want to use the 600 parts on your 750 anyway?

minor wreck that gave one of the forks a small bend, and well down here 600's out number the 750's 5 to 1, and to be more detailed my bike was manufactured in jan of 03, its the one with the new tail end, can anyone send me a pic of the front brakes to verify if its the newest one, and a compare of two pics would be good if any one has them.

$250 plus shipping gets you two still sealed, brand new OEM Suzuki tubes. If you only need one, I'll split them. They run $166 wholesale each... I'm just trying to clear them out.

Understood perfectly...
Meanwhile, for future reference, this is how you figure out if stuff will fit your year:
1. Go to RonAyers.com and look up the fiche for your bike. Then find the part number.
2. Now go back to the front page of their site and punch in that part number into "What does this part fit?" box -- it'll give you a list of bikes that share the same part number.

did that a while back 98-02 600's have there own front end parts, 03-06 600's have there own thing, and 750's 98-02 have there own thing as do the 03-06 750's.
the tubes on 03-06 750's and 600's are the same even though the system says otherwise, the only thing im worried is if the 03 and up 600 does indead have a wider upper and lower triple trees, if i were to put the complete wheel and forks of a 600 to a 750 and this info is to be true then might end up with the forks wider at the top then at the bottom, even though it might be by a fraction of a inch..
but to tell you the truth you can't get all the info just off of this system but thanks for the info, i got time so this is no rush for me. i won't be able to ride till another month at least.
