'06 exhaust on an '02 question

  • '06 exhaust on an '02 question

    The 06 stock exhaust is a little longer so the rear bracket doesnt line up. Can I get the rear foot peg of an '06 to solve this?

      The headers are the same, ditto the exhaust cans.
      I agree with phil -- I suspect you don't have the mid-pipe connection pushed all the way in.

        First hole lines up perfectly, the one by the rear foot peg is about 1.5" farther back so Im sure it is pushed all the way in at the collector. I can also see the difference in the bracket location if I put the old & new one next to each other...

            That would require cutting and re-welding it, if the newer foot peg matches up it would look much cleaner...
