    Those are the fuses, and if your dash lights up, your fuses for the speedo are fine anyway.

    The next step is to measure the resistance between the other side of the connector that the speedo plugs into to the connector at the back of the dash, to make sure you have good continuity all the way to the dash. If not, suspect the pin connectors at the 16-/20-pin molex connectors in the wiring harness above the headlight casing. See my PM responding to your PM's for more details.

      (thread Hijack!) Hmm so How do I check this nut with 4 pieces? My speedo sensor is in good shape but I think I'm reading like 25 or 33% of my actual speed reading. Katana 600 at in 6th gear at 6k rpms I'm reading something like 20 mph?!?! I tried to use the speed calculator, but it seems off.... Any suggestions? I have a new cluster could the problem be there?

        Take off the front sprocket cover and find this speed nut... I just figured out mine is done for in many ways.. hence my earlier problem
