this is all sorts of screwd up, I dont even know where to start.... I left work and it was stuck in 2nd and would not shift, then 1/2 way home it was stuck in 1st... so if I am not mistaken, this color on the plates are from getting the bike going from 0MPH in second gear?

yup...I would say you need some clutches.

Clutch plates are definitely burned. You'll need new clutch pads & springs, ought to replace the plate (you may be able to get away with reusing that one depending on how smooth/thick it still is).

Hope that's all it was... Remember, if you're going to bother replacing the clutch, seriously consider replace the clutch cable while you're at it
