stuck chock cable

  • stuck chock cable

    94 cat 750 and the chock switch movers mor freely then before. I think it's stuck on. Because when u start the bike up it revs up real high and keeps going. and ideas ? Do I need a whole new cable.

          when u are pulling it out tape one end of the new one to the opposite end of the old one. this way it will route it self and it takes the guessing out of where to route it. just a quick tip for you

                You might also want to read this thread:

                I normally carry choke cables for all the Kats, ready to ship immediately, but the pre-98 750 is the one choke cable I'm currently out of... Sorry.
