I am wondering if mikuni flat side carburetors off of a 1993 katana 750 will work on a 1988 katana 600. Does anyone out there know?

1. The 93 Kats didn't come with flatslides (none of the 88-06 Kats did -- they all use Mikuni CV carbs).
2. That means someone else installed flatslide carbs or is mislabeling what they have.
3. Typical flatslides can be tuned for most uses, but the real question is what size carbs are the flatslide ones -- if you can't fit them into the rubber boots leading to your cylinders, all the jetting in the world will make zero difference.
