What kind of parts?
For some parts, you'll be best off getting them remanufactured (such as stator/alternator) by third-party firms. For some, you'll be fine going with used parts (such as eBay). And for some, new-old-stock is the keyword (such as OldBikeBarn.com as Black_peter mentioned).
