  • float bowl vent tubes ??

allright i`ve seached, and searched but can`t find a defanant yes or no dynojet says remove the float bowl vent tubes but then what just remove and thats it or do you plug them

You don't want to plug them, you still need the vent for the bowls to fill up with fuel.

You can leave the hoses on as far as I know. I don't see where it would make any difference whether they were on there or not. If you keep them on... less chances of dirt falling into your carbs from an open tube.

The vent tubes are there to provide a place for the air/fuel (in the float bowls) to equalize pressure with the outside world, and provide some slosh space if the bike is leaned over heavily (plus reduce the odds of fire if the bike goes down). Leave 'em there; they don't negatively affect performance... at least if you are talking about the actual vent tubes.

So are you agreeing with me or just adding more to it?

That's cool... I was curious while also poking fun.
