  • Electrical Help (or Squid help for some of you)

In the course of my buildup, I have decided that I am NOT going to run front turn signals until I have found some that I like.

Just so some of you dont harass me too much, I have been using my hand signals (unless I am in a turn) and the rear ones are still hooked up.

My problem is that with the fronts off it is an open circuit (I guess?!?) and when I use my turn signal (WITH HAND SIGNALS!!!) that it just stays illuminated, no blinky. I know that with front turn signals on that it completes the circuit and thus blinks. How can I close the circuit without installing front signals? Can I just hook up the positive and negative without creating a short? Thanks for y'alls help!!

So could I just hook up the poitive and negative and not worry about shorting out anything?

Actually now that I think of it..
Not having fronts shouldn't cause an issue..
I had no fronts for a few days..
          I don't remember a problem.

Just leave the wires dangling . There shouldn't be any issue at all . If there IS , it ain't with those wires .

DO NOT SHORT THOSE WIRES TOGETHER!
Wrap them with electrical tape so they can't touch...
Otherwise you're completing the circuit with no resistance and you'll get bad results (blown fuse, possible more serious issues) whenever you turn on the blinkers.

              Cheers,
