Need 1 float.. how much$

I took the carbs off the other day for a first time cleaning. It was horrible! In the fuel bowls it almost looked like Mr. Hankey danced around in there. Anyways I noticed that one of the valve floats was cracked where it connects in the middle (supports). So it moves sideways a little. Does anyone know the cheapest place where I can get a new float? I was thinking Bates Cycles in Garland, but i haven't contacted them yet. I kinda want to avoid the stealership if i can for $ reasons.

Or if $$ is more critical that time, track down another set of the appropriate carbs on eBay and take a float out of the donor
