  • Oil lamp light

    My oil light turns on when i am driving my -98 kat. When i fiddle with the wires it turns off. How do i proceed whit this problem?

          If the oil level's right , and fiddling with the wires makes the light go off , figure out WHY . Maybe a wire needs replaced . Fiddle with it until you can find the bad spot , and fix it .
          I am a fluffy lil cuddly lovable bunny , dammit !

            Which wires do you wiggle to make it shut off? If you know where the issue is, it should be easy to fix.

            The oil pressure sensor is on the right side of the bike, under the forward engine cover. Unbolt the cover and trace the wires -- one may be damaged (usually the case).

              I wiggle the ones I can reach between the tank and right side fairings... Ill try to follow them throug. Thanks!
