  • 750 vs. 600 Carb Question

My 94 600 was running rough this year. I decided to synch the carbs, but much to my suprise one of the vacuum nipples has broken off. Anyway I just bought a set of used carbs from a 94 kat 750. I was wondering if I could bolt them up without running too much fuel. Will it help performance?

    Thanks,
    TJ

They will be a PIA to tune for a 600 unless you can find someone who already has all the details on what settings will work well on a 600. The carbs themselves are larger in diameter and jetted differently.

Thanks for the info. Are the 750 carbs going to fit inside the 600 intake boots? And will an aftermarket exhaust make tuning easier?

      Thanks Again,
      TJ

yes 750 carbs will fit into 600 boots they have the same outside diameter jettign would be a lil funky but why not take the good caps off the 750 carbs and use them ont he 600 carbs and go that route
