I just got my D&D pipe today and my neighbor was telling me that I would have to sink my carbs when I put the new pipe in, is that true.

Have one on my bike. Yes, it's loud. And fun. The bike sounds about a million times "racier". Lots of fun. And probably a bit safer too (people hear you).
I did notice some backfiring on downshifts with it. Perhaps they existed before and the stock exhaust just muffled them to the point I never noticed. . . Dunno.
I have an Ivans kit sitting downstairs to put on though - too lazy right now. Will report once that's done too, but I imagine it will only help.
Not to mention the petcock needs rebuilding. And the headlight wiring harness. . .
