  • D&D pipe

I just got my D&D pipe today and my neighbor was telling me that I would have to sink my carbs when I put the new pipe in, is that true.

With a slip on you don't have to do anything

I got mine a week ago and I love it. It's not as loud as I figured it would be but it's loud I guess you'd say. Not obnoxious though. I went with the carbon fiber version though so they may sound a bit more tame who knows.

I was out for a ride yesterday and ran into LadyKat on the street. As we were riding together, her D&D was making my ears ring. It's loud, obnoxiously loud.

If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've high-sided!

Have one on my bike. Yes, it's loud. And fun. The bike sounds about a million times "racier". Lots of fun. And probably a bit safer too (people hear you).

I did notice some backfiring on downshifts with it. Perhaps they existed before and the stock exhaust just muffled them to the point I never noticed. . . Dunno.

I have an Ivans kit sitting downstairs to put on though - too lazy right now. Will report once that's done too, but I imagine it will only help.

Not to mention the petcock needs rebuilding. And the headlight wiring harness. . .
