I don't know if your gloves have gel in the palm but it helped me when I bought of pair. Also as mentioned getting the carbs synched helps is probably the best way to smooth out the bike. Tires also help if they need it or just balancing.

Hi I'm new here but in a DIY moment and sore hand I took some BMX foam handlebar wrap and three stainless tie wraps and about 20 minutes and did the grips on my 92.

It looks pretty good and cost nothing really 5.00 bucks maybe

It works for me the grip is a little fatter and softer no handling issues yet LOL
