97' katana fairings

I got a 97 katana and was on craigslist. I seen a 98 katana that had my same fairing style and a 98 with a 99katana fairing style, so my question was can i put the99 katana fairing style on my 97?

97 and 98 are different, 98 and 99 are the same. the Pre style was from 88-97 the 98-06 is post, the fairings are completely different. Post a pic of you kat.

You have a pre. 88-97. Only other pre fairings will fit without mods. But welcome to KR. Just noticed ya just joined
The post kats, 98-06, have more bubble-like fairings.

Are there any websites to buy fairing kits that are already painted and ready to be bolted on for the 97 modle, i always find them for 98 and up and for busas

I don't think they make the pre fairings ready to go anymore

Are your fairings broken or just don't like the them anymore? If they are broken there is a couple great wright ups on here. Convinced me to fix mine my self and I have to say its not that hard to do.
