Could you add me to the list for one of the pre98 750 undertails, PLEASE?
I like the hugger also, did you get that for another bike and fit it to the Kat?

Thazkat, all the cowls at this picture are self-made and self painted, that also includes the hugger. I'm now making a new hugger to fit a 170 tire instead of a 150 tire.

Another photo of my little kat

I hope I can find one dutch member who will give me his pre-98 bike for a little week to create a nice looking tail. I think it will be a difficult one because the side cowls are too straight to have a nice look at it. Ok, it is always better then that black ugly thing with the plate attached to it.

By the photo it appears like it will work on a 750 but what do you see as the differences?

The length of the straight flat part behind the plate is too short and there is less space between the side cowls where the tail is placed. And there are more curves applied to the 600F side cowls then the almost straight 750F side cowls.

I've tried it with the test example on a 750F and it didn't match at all (ok, I'm just demanding the best because I do not like unfinished and possible wasted work...).

Thank you for clearing that up. I noticed that the mounting screws are the same place it would be mounted on the 750.

That's correct Thazkat, but I never understood why they designed this for a 750 kat that originally only have a bit more HP then the 600 versions, it has the same front but a blocked out back. I just never understood why Suzuki designed it like this... (corrected last sentence)

IMO, individuality, unlike todays bikes. Actually the pre98 600 is alot less than the 750. Dynoed the 750 at 98 HP.

Hhmmm, not fully tuned my 600 has around 90hp (too little jets for a full stage3 kit (124 to be exact)).

In it's original state the amount of HP's at the rear-wheel doesn't diff that much, it is the amount of torque that's interesting to have a 750.

                            is your 750 still stock?
