  • Tire tits

Hey guys got a question, since I am quite new at riding I was wondering I bought a 95 kat 600 off of a friend of mine he just put new tires on the bike dont think he has put any miles on them since they still have all the little rubber tits all over the front and back now should I clip these off or leave them be. I have heard different things from different people just wondering what y'all think. Thanks in advance for the info.

I leave them. I don't know that it makes any difference.

        People clip them off?

        Why?

I've always been a fan of them. Why augment? Sounds painful to me.

A new tire can be slippery from the subatance used to release it from the mold and that would cause the tire to slide.

I think you've had your leg pulled. If all those little tyre tits were wearing mini bras you might have a grip problem. Did they tell you to remove them with a left-handed screw driver??
