  • Pre-kat Tires

Its time for new tires. I have read most of the posts but I am finding it difficult to find the OEM tire sizes.

I am wondering if 120/60 zr 17 for the front

And 160/60 zr 17 for the rear will work?

Does anyone know if these sizes will work on a pre-kat?

120/70 for the front and 150/70 for the rear.

perfect, was just going to ask the same question.

i was told today, putting a radial on a pre kat wasnt a good idea..in fact they wouldnt even install it if i were to show up with a tire and rim. is there any validity to this?

That is the most ignorant **** I've ever heard. Wow.
90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.
