at what pressure should i be running my new metzeler z6's? did a search, couldnt find nuthin. went to the co.'s site , and still nuthin....
i know air pressure sometimes depends on the make of the tire.

i wore the front down sooner than the back. im guessing i could get another 500-1000 more miles outta the back one. but i ordered a new one anyway.these are gonna be the first replacement set.is it normal to run down the front before the back?

the tires have 4,100 miles on them. did they wear down kinda fast? cause i couldve sworn i read on here somewhere, that the stock tires can last up to 8,000 miles.

Depends a lot on your weight, if you're two-up, but I believe generally it's in the area of 36psi. Always check when cold.

Well ,the Metz's are supposed to be fairly similar to the Pirelli's I run , and I was told to run 36-37/38-40 , so I START there ....

I think I'm running about 36 in the front, and 38 in the rear for solo riding.

Couple thousand miles right now. They seem to be wearing just fine.

to end the dispute 42 in the rear 39 in the front with metzler tires no doubt about it unless you like tire cupping.

Try this link. Didn't you look on the Metzler site?
They recommend 34 front and 36 rear.

The Metzeler people I spoke with at Daytona, as well as the German Metzeler engineers I've spoken with all recommended a baseline of 36 front, 37 rear for the Z6 on the Kat, and then increase based on your weight. The general idea is to have the contact spot (or the amount of tire distortion at the contact spot) the same with your weight on it as the bike would be without anyone on it at 34/36.

                              Cheers,
