  • Pirelli Diablo?

Cycle Gear has regular Pirelli Diablos on sale. Anybody running these or have experience with them?

    Diablos or Diablo Stradas?
I tested a set of standard diablos back when they first came out, and they were exceptionally grippy, great on dry, reasonable (but not great) on wet, and wore pretty fast under the heavy load of a 98+ Kat. They would be one of my first choices if I was constantly knee down canyon carving, but not for my standard riding (which is a lot of high-speed all-weather miles -- the stradas and the Metzeler Z6's are better for most riders).

    Cheers,

Will have em on this weekend. I'll give U an opinion next week. Any tire will be an improvement over the stock rear that is quickly going bald!

What Cyber said on something that's a few pounds heavier. Great on the track, miserable mileage after a few heat cycles once they got back out the open road. Stradas rock for that.
