fork question regarding years.

ok so i have a post kat, 03 to be exact. i just found out my forks are bent slightly, and have been looking for a set. my question is, are there any differences between the "post" years? like would a 98 work on a 03?

No, you will need 03-06 forks, or a whole new front end.
