  • Help!! It's too soft!

I was told by my riding buddies that my springs are dangerously soft (they ride SS bikes). It does feel very soft and it sways and bounces alot in the twisties, and I don't feel confident in the corners. I weigh 225 lb (102kg). What should I do (besides losing 50 lb)...?
    It's a 2003 600.
    Thanks

Is it just the back or the front too? You might have a blown rear shock, that's what mine does.

yeah, you might want to look into replacing those links. I don't know that I trust anybody's welding enough to let them weld my dogbones together.

I was just in the same boat (as far as the shock is concerned ) anyways, search around on ebay. My rear shock was completely blown and bouncy as hell. I picked up an almost brand new post 750 setup for $50...it's like a brand new bike now. Turn in is way more predictable and the rear wheel feels much more planted.

It's the fork springs, actually. I don't know about the back, not sure how it's supposed to feel.
