Terry actually PM me and quickly explained how to fit the spacers, sounds like a piece of cake. I've had the forks apart many times already, did the .99cent mod etc so no worries here.

I am thinking about going to 1.0Kg springs on my Kat How do you like them? I find the stock springs on my 98 to be too soft.

springs are by bike+rider weight, not just a .95 or 1KG or whatever number.

the Kat is set up for a 160-180lb rider, and if i remember right, has .62Kg/mm fork springs.

hit racetechs website, and order springs based on your fully geared up riding weight.

start here : http://old.racetech.com/evalving/menu/searchstreet.asp and enter bike make/model/year.

then click on the ":Custom Fork and Shock Spring and Available rates" to find the appropriate spring weight.

I Had looked up the previously set at sport riding rider 180 and bike weight of 490 (says semi wet weight not sure the exact weight different places say 480-500) says i should have a 0.973kg/mm, they have 0.95 and 1.0 so Should I go up or down?

I installed the 1.0kg race techs on the front of my pre 750,. I Weight about 220. they work great couldn't be happier. that with the R6 rear made a great combo, and I only have about $200 into it.
