replacing fork seals

    Depending on how worn they are you could always do the coated bushings #3 and #9. they don't help seal fork but they do wear and easy and cheap enough while your in there. but certainly only if worn.

      They are definitely worth the time, while you have it apart to replace. Just did mine couple months ago.

        I really appreciate it guys, just ordered number 9 to go with the fork oil seals and wipers/dust seals. The order showed for 2002 katana, but from what I've read all the same....pretty much just about EVERYTHING from 98-06 was just the same. Thanks again

          I also have read that you need 2 quarts of fork oil...which brand is ok? That stuff is expensive...this little project has turned into like $75 doing it myself

            I bought 2 bottles from Tmod, used literally just a few ml under a whole bottle.
