Looks great, any views from the side (curious what the angle is of the seat unit and the exhaust). I'd suggest welding the tank (though obviously more dangerous)...I originally glassed the indentations on my tank and beteen vibrations and the hot california sun, they eventually lifted off the metal in a couple places. I stripped it all back and welded in sheets patches and it looks great now.

For the dents I was thinking to solder sheet metal.

Wow, Looks Great, quite a bit of work. I'm such a chicken chit I'd never take on such a project anymore. I once had a 1954 chevy pu with a camaro drive train, cadillac tilt tele steering, monte carlo swivel seats etc... Did all the work myself including paint and body but once I got out of college I just got old and quit tooling on cars....it sucks getting old..."So scared of getting older, I'm only good at being young"

Lookin great Roger...nice job on the conneting pipe. Flows nicely with the lines of the tail. What do you olan on using for the front rim to match the vfr800 rear. Never figured out what Hoonda ran a 5 spoke rear and a 6 spoke front? The race marchesini 5 spoke s match almost perfectly as do the dymags and BSTs (ummm, how about BST carbon fiber all the way around The five spoke off aprilias and ducs are a close match...can't wait to see the finished product!
Cheers
