lowered bike question

Hey Guys'

I recently installed lowering links on my 04 kat. They work great but as you know the sidestand is too long. I cut and welded it with an offset so it does't get in the way when I shift. It works fine but looks kind of silly. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can swap the side stand from another model. I would really like to get one of the adjustible ones like they have for ther gsxr's.

Everyone I know simply cut & butt-welded it (or had it done professionally). I don't know of any stands that bolt-on to the Kat that are shorter...
